Lettering and Illustration - Film 'Baggage'

I was commissioned to create all the hand lettering, including the logo/film tile, credits and life size cut out illustrations for the film Baggage. The film was nominated for Best British Short at the Iris Prize International Film Festival, Cardiff, Wales. Screened at the British Film Institute, London, UK, and nominated for Best Short at the Philadelphia Independent Film Awards. Kansas City LGBT Film Festival, Mumbai International Queer Film Festival (India) and winner of Best First Film at Outlantacom Short Film Festival, Commissioned by Extraordinary Alien Inc., NY.

Personal work - I design and produce greetings cards that I sell at craft fairs and in my on-line shop.

'Thinking of Ewe' and 'Ewe is Cool' are handmade by me, Lino printed with a touch of watercolour. I also love Border Collies.

Here are some children's books I've been commissioned to design and illustrate, and some book covers I've also been commissioned to design and illustrate. I have created book covers for fiction, non-fiction and young adult books.

I collaborated with a friend who wrote a series of modern day fairy tales. We have published three so far under the pen names 'Weecee' and 'Muggins' (I am muggins), I illustrated each complete book and the cover for both books.

I design and illustrated these two book covers both books were non-fiction. I was commissioned by the author Albert Ramos, NY.

I created the hand lettering for 'Sober Cooking', a new collection of poems by Lynn McGee's, published by Spuyten Duyvil Press, NY.

I design and illustrated the cover for this non-fiction book about living in 90 square feet in Manhattan. I was commissioned by the author Felice Cohen, NY.

I design and illustrated the cover for this fiction book about a women's journey from the darkness into the light. I was commissioned by Live Your Light Publishing, NY.

I design and illustrated the cover and the inside story of the 'The Three Little Pigs', in a magazine format. My client was pitching the concept to Home Depot, my client gave the story a modern day twist and incorporated many of the products sold at Home Depot. I'm working on a series of self initiated illustrations that capture life in Bristol, with all it's vibrant colours and a few dogs here and there, because I love dogs.

I created this illustration digitally, using flat colours to create the feel of a silkscreen image, and working in my loose hand drawn style.

Personal Project - New York in a Box 2

I designed, illustrated and hand lettered a print of New York, with some of the places I love to go.

New York in a Box - using various combinations from my print I created 27 mini prints. Each box has 10 limited edition mini prints, the actual size of the box is 3.5" x 3.5"

Design and Lettering - Film Title/Logo

I wanted my jumbled hand lettered film title/logo to echo the chaotic life of the main character in the film Baggage. Commissioned by Extraordinary Alien Inc., NYC.

After post production the film title on screen.

The client liked all the color options I presented so they decided to go with multi colored fronts and a single colored back for the business card.

I continued the multi colored theme onto stickers.

I was commissioned to create an Illustration for the Eureka Awards. An annual competition to source innovative recycling ideas. My illustration was used in a national print poster campaign and on the website. Viridor Ltd., is one of the biggest national recycling and waste companies in the UK.
